Imagination Library program information

It has been brought to our attention that there have been attempts to collect a fee in exchange for signing up for the Imagination Library program.
Please be aware that Imagination Library does not operate on a door-to-door basis. Enrollment in the program is offered at specific locations in participating counties. Anyone coming to your door and claiming to be from Imagination Library is NOT authorized by the Imagination Library program. This program is completely funded by Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and the West Virginia Legislature and brought to you by the West Virginia Department of Education and the Arts.
The Imagination Library is designed to provide FREE age-appropriate books each month to children in participating counties from birth to their fifth birthday. Every child in the participating counties can be registered by parents, grandparents, and legal guardians. There is no fee attached to this program.

If you are, or have been approached by anyone trying to collect any money for the Imagination Library program, do not give them money, and PLEASE contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 304-369-7340.
