Born June 22, 1925, in Henlawson, he was the son of the late Henry Basil and Lucy McNeely White. Paul was also preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Mae White; and brothers Bill, Bob and Ray White.
Mr. White was a retired mine foreman from Kermit Coal Company, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Odell Lodge 115 AF&AM and Monclo Freewill Baptist Church for 52 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years.
Survivors include his son, the Rev. Joe Lane and wife, Betty, of Ottawa; daughters, Susie Meade and husband, Dewey, of Sharples, Sandy Miller and husband, Foy, of Madison, Paula Baldwin and husband, Danny, of Clothier and Lucy White and companion, Donald Adkins, of Robinson;

great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren;
special friend, Ralph Divinere of Madison; and faithful friend and companion, the family dog, Groucho.
Funeral services were held March 8 at Monclo Freewill Baptist Church, near Sharples, with David Campbell and Dennie Evans officiating. Burial followed in Family Memorial Gardens, near Madison.
