The Town of Madison received an $8,000 emergency grant to have this building torn down on Main Street, according to Mayor Sonny Howell. The dilapidated structure was being to fall into the roadway and was creating a public safety hazard. Howell thanks Boone County state Senator Ron Stollings for helping in obtaining the grand funding for the project.
