Mary C. Nida Weagle, 79, entered into her Saviour’s presence Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, believing in the promise of John 3:16. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotton son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Born Nov. 12, 1933, in Madison, WV, to the late Vernon and Carrie Morris Nida. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Nida.
She was a dental hygienist for 42 years working at Williams Manufacturing Co. and retiring from the office of Dr. Richard and Steve Scurlock in 1995.
She was a faithful member and former Sunday School teacher at Berean Baptist Church in Sciotoville, Ohio.
Surviving is husband, Robert G. Weagle, Sr. of Wheelersburg whom she married Dec. 17, 1955. Also surviving daughter, Cathleen A. Weagle of Elyria and and Wheelersburg, OH, son Robert G. Weagle, Jr., of Bluff City, TN, grandson, LCP Benjamin R. Weagle of Camp Pendleton, CA, granddaughter, Melissa (Ben) Bunch and great granddaughter to be Madison Brooke Bunch of Bluff City, TN.
She fought a long battle with cancer, health issues and has now truly won as she is with her Lord and Savior rejoicing and praising God. We will miss her, her cards, notes of encouragement, kind, sweet and gracious spirit. Her favorite Bible verse - Isaiah 41:13 and Jesus is now holding her right hand.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Berean Baptist Church in Sciotoville with Pastor Tim Wright officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
