High school graduation ceremonies start tonight at Sherman High

Its graduation time for local high schools in Boone County.
Tonight, Sherman High School will have its graduation ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Then on Friday evening starting at 6 p.m. Van High School will have its graduation ceremony. Scott High Schools graduation ceremony starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
This weeks Coal Valley News print edition features a special graduation section for the Class of 2013, including Christian Faith Academy as well.
Meanwhile, some graduating high school seniors were honored in the WSAZ NewsChannel 3 salute to the "Best of the Class 2013."
The top scholars, from 32 counties within the West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky WSAZ viewing area, are featured in public service announcements that were videotaped during a luncheon held at the Huntington Museum of Art on April 29.
The announcements began airing on WSAZ on May 15, and continue through June 16.

WSAZ celebrates graduating seniors each year with this nationally acclaimed program. This year marks the 29th anniversary for the event.
