He was a retired mechanic from General Motors.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Wanda; two sons, Darrell Ray and Danny Lee, both of Jeffrey; two sisters, Freda Williams of Dunbar and Della Davis of Henlawson; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on July 13 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Jack Kinder and Mark White officiating. Burial followed at Baldwin Cemetery, Bias Branch.
