Joshua Rodger Goodyear, 24, of Turtle Creek, was arrested on charges of wanton endangerment, according to a criminal complaint filed in the Magistrate Court of Boone County. According to the complaint, on or about July 10, Goodyear went to the home of Shannon Williams, also of Turtle Creek, to discuss an dispute that occurred the night before. The complaint states that Goodyear pulled a 9-mm High Point handgun from his waistband and pointed it at her. When Scotty Albright, who witnessed the event, attempted to intervene, Goodyear drew the gun on him also, according to the court document. Deputy M.D. Foster, of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department investigated and found a 9 mm High Point pistol in Goodyear’s home, according to the complaint. Foster states in the complaint that Goodyear verbally admitted to brandishing the gun. Goodyear is currently being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail.
