Editor:

I would like to see the planters in downtown Madison that have deteriorated returned to parking spaces. They have become an eye-sore.

I would also like to say the best deal in town is the public library. The personnel are gracious and helpful. There is something there for everyone, including the hearing impared, those with eye problems, children and adults. It would be helpful if more people would contribute to our library with a donation from time to time, so they could buy more books, etc.
