The Boone Career Center conducted their annual Advisory Council meeting Thursday, November 11, 2012. The Advisory council is very instrumental in the success and growth of the programs offered to Boone County Students. The dinner was prepared and served by Chef Bob Milam and his culinary students. This meeting is held each year to procure valuable information from business and industry for the purpose of better preparing students for their chosen career. Programs at the Career Center are diligent in keeping up with current trends in their field through continued updates from business industry leaders. The main goal of the Boone Career Center staff is to provide students with the most up-to-date and relevant skills possible to prepare them for their continued educational endeavor.
