Scott scrimmaged West Side last week in preparation for the upcoming season and the “Coalfield Shootout tournament in Madison, Dec. 14 and 15, at the Madison Civic Center.
The upcoming “Coalfield Shootout” features all three high school boys basketball teams from Boone County.
The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

11:00 A.M. - Van vs Sherman (Keaton/Keaton/Cutlip)
1:00 P.M. - Riverview vs Buffalo (Putnam) (Copley/Fields/Webb)
3:00 P.M. – Wyoming East vs Tuscarawas Cath., OH (Nesselroad/Jones/Jones)
5:00 P.M. - Belfry (KY) vs Berwick (PA) (Anderson/Classing/Peake)
7:00 P.M. - Tolsia vs Flora MacDonald, NC (Simmons/Sparks/Westcott)
9:00 P.M. - Mingo Central vs Scott (Lemons/McKinney/Michael)
