Janic R. Avena Aleshire (nee Loftis), 69, of North Ridgeview, Ohio, passed away Jan. 24, 2013, after a long illness.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Dom Avena; parents Don and Orpha Loftis; brother Jimmy Loftis; sister Donna Gaile and two grandsons, Benjamin Clark and Christopher Workman.
She is the loving mother of Dom Avena (Chasiti) of Crosslanes, WV, Donna Shamblin (Mike) of Clendenin, Anthony Avena (Michelle) of New Castle, Pa., and Gary Workman (Louise) of Clothier, WV. She also leaves behind a very special sister Carole White (nee Loftis) of North Ridgeview, Ohio, and loving sister Lucky (Alice) Loftis of Carpentersville, IL. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and friends who loved her very much.
Memorial services will be held Feb. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Madison, WV. Final resting place will be the Workman Family Cemetery.
