DANVILLE — A Danville man was arrested and charged for reportedly brandishing a weapon on Nov. 2 in the Newport area of Danville.

Peyton Scott Boggs, 18, was charged with wanton endangerment in relation to the incident that occurred on Haywood Lane.

In a criminal complaint prepared by West Virginia State Trooper MR Miller, the report states that Boggs made threats to the victim and “pointed a firearm in the direction of the victim.”

At press time, Boggs was not held at Southwestern Regional jail and bond information was not available.
