NELLIS — After a business contacted the Boone County Sheriff’s Office about a stolen UTV, an investigation led to the recovery of the vehicle and the arrest of a man charged in relation to the theft.

Joshua Dylan McNeely, 25, of Nellis, was charged with transferring/receiving stolen property on Sept. 21, according to a criminal complaint prepared by Deputy Daniel Cottrell.

The report states that Lt. Josh Weagle investigated the incident and accompanied a representative of the company to Honey Camp Road in the Nellis area of Boone County.

According to the complaint, Weagle found the accused on the vehicle in question, which was identified and recovered by the officer.

As of CVN print deadline, McNeely was held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $25,000 surety/cash bond.
