MADISON — A Madison man was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver after a search warrant was executed Sept. 23 by the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force, the West Virginia State Police and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a report prepared by Cpl. JR Brewer, Cameron Andrew Fisher, 41 of 1004 Lee Ave., tried to flee out of the back door of the residence and refused to comply with verbal demands as the officers found methamphetamine and a firearm, for which Fisher claimed ownership of. U.S. currency and a set of scales were recovered at the scene.
According to the report, Fisher was convicted of felony unlawful assault in 2008.
As of CVN print deadline, Fisher was held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $50,000 cash/surety bond and has four total cases pending in Boone County.
