BOB WHITE — A Madison man is facing charges after an incident in the Bob White area, according to a criminal complaint.

According to the report filed by Cpl. Daniel Cottrell of the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, the officer was dispatched to a call May 5 regarding a burglary.

Once on the scene, the officer spoke to the victim. According to the complaint, the victim stated they had arrived at their residence, where they saw a green Chevrolet Trail Blazer parked at the end of the driveway.

According to the complaint, the victim also stated they saw the accused — Corey Mark Agosti, 25, of Madison — allegedly dragging a pressure washer out of the side door of the their garage.

The victim reportedly confronted the accused before calling 911, during which time the accused got into his vehicle and left, according to the complaint.

The victim also reported that the accused had used a small drill to remove the latch on the door to the garage to gain entry.

Agosti faces one count of burglary.
