Danny Ray McNeely Jr.

FOSTERVILLE — A man was arrested and charged after shots were fired at a home in the Fosterville area of Boone County on Sept. 24.

Danny Ray McNeely Jr., 28, of Seth, was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment in relation to the incident.

According to a criminal complaint prepared by Deputy JP Dent with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Dent responded to a call of “shots fired at or shots fired from” a white Ford Ranger truck in the eastbound lane of Route 3.

A woman told the deputy that the house she was at was struck by what appeared to be bullets and, according to the report, the deputy found three bullet holes in the home. The owner of the home said the accused ran south toward the river and then west toward Kirbyton.

Upon searching the truck from which witnesses said the bullets had been fired, the deputy recovered a wallet from the dashboard on the driver’s side that contained an identification card from the state of Indiana for Danny Ray McNeely Jr. along with the title for the vehicle, which was also registered in the name of the accused, according to the report.

As of CVN print deadline, McNeely Jr. was held at Southwestern Regional Jail with no bond information listed in the system.
