ORGAS — An Orgas man faces a drug charge after a search warrant was executed by the U.S. 119 Task Force on March 18.
Paul Thomas Lombardi, 55, was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl.
According to a criminal complaint completed by Lt. E.C. Eversole, after executing the search warrant on the home of the defendant, officers located a bag containing approximately 5 grams of a powdery substance believed to be fentanyl as well as digital scales “covered in a similar powdery substance.
After being arrested, the defendant was transferred to the Boone County Sheriff’s office where the report states that the defendant told investigators that he does sell fentanyl on a daily basis from his residence.
As of press time, Lombardi was held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $250,000 surety/cash bond.
