JARRELLS CREEK – A woman lost her arm when she was allegedly trapped under a moving train in the Jarrells Creek area of Boone County on July 21.

According to Boone 911 officials, the call came in at 7:49 p.m. and the Van Volunteer Fire Department, the Boone County Ambulance Authority, the Wharton Volunteer Fire Department and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene.

There was no information regarding why she was under the train when the incident occurred.

Healthnet 5 was called to the scene and the woman was flown from a Wharton ball field to Charleston General where it arrived at the scene at 8:34 and landed on-site in Charleston at 8 :51 p.m.

The identity of the woman could not be confirmed on Wednesday morning by the CVN.
