NOVILLIS MARIE COOK, 93, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2022 at the home of her daughter, Dreama Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oder and Rachel Miller; husband, Bethel Cook; son, Lawrence Cook; grandchildren, Russell Elswick and Stacy Jo Elswick; great-grandson, Brandon Elswick; and brothers, Ezra and Bill Miller. Novillis was a member of the Gospel Center Tabernacle. She is survived by her daughter, Dreama (Jack) Miller of Madison, W.Va.; son, Terry (Angie) Miller of Charleston, W.Va.; seven grandchildren: Sherry (Randy) Buckner of Danville, W.Va., Shadora (Craig) Lovejoy, T.J. Miller, Rachel, Julie and Carla Sue Cook, and Brook Harless; eight great-grandchildren: Cole (Lauren) Buckner, Randi Lynn Buckner, Andrew (Rebecca) Buckner, Eric (Melissa) Buckner, Cody (Heather) Buckner, Austin Harless, Haley Harless, and Raegan Harless; and four great-great-grandchildren, including her special little angel, Adeline Buckner. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, W.Va., with Pastor Walter Gore officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Park on Indian Grave Road, Danville, W.Va. Visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 7, at the funeral home.
