KEITH D. TOLER of Foster, W.Va., completed his life journey in this world on March 5, 2021. Keith was born August 4, 1956, at Pineville in Wyoming County, W.Va., to Helen L. and the late Donald D. Toler. Keith was a serious chess player in high school and graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School in Pennsylvania in 1974. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was always happy to talk about his team. The family moved to West Virginia that summer, and Keith postponed college to help manage the family’s newly purchased Sunoco Service Station in Madison. After a year of helping his dad get the business established, Keith attended Marshall University in Huntington. He then returned to Madison as business manager of what had expanded to become Don’s Tire & Auto, Inc. The combination of auto parts sales, skilled work in the mechanic shop and solid management steadily grew the business over the years. Keith and his wife, Ruth, were married 33 years and filled their Danville home with love for each other, their toy poodles and lastly, Willow, their little chocolate Chihuahua. Keith became an avid bowler and joined a league in Logan; he looked forward to the weekly competition. He enjoyed online gaming in later years, and his Nintendo 3DS Xi was one of his favorites. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Donald D. Toler; and his nephew, Wm. Benjamin Hager. Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. Holstein Toler; his mother, Helen L. Toler; sister, Cynthia (Troy) Dutton; and brother, Douglas C. Toler; and several extended family members. Keith’s wishes were to be cremated. Plans for a memorial service have not been made at this time. Keith will be forever in our hearts.
