BOONE COUNTY - With Class AA Scott idle, Class A Van and Sherman played host on Friday night.

Sherman was looking for their first win against Buffalo (3-1) and with the exception of a keeper that went for a score from QB CJ Winnell, the Tide had little to cheer for in a 33-6 loss to the Bison.

For Van (1-3), a 32-point third quarter by Tug Valley (3-1) sealed their fate as their lone score came on a late run from David Stewart and the Panthers prevailed, 46-6.
