BOONE COUNTY – Boone County gridders will have to wait for week three to get their first wins of the 2019 season as Scott, Sherman and Van fell in week 2 games on Friday.

Scott (0-2) played host to Class A St. Marys (2-0) and after falling behind 27-0 at halftime, fell 34-7.

Sherman (0-2) traveled to Tug Valley (1-1) and lost, 32-12 after the Tide scored two early TDs.

The Bulldogs of Van (0-2) hit the road to face Class AA Liberty (Raleigh) and came up short, 35-0.
