CHARLESTON — First-place tallies from Cody Nantz and Michael Clay led the Scott High School track and field team at the Laidley Invitational in Charleston on April 30.

Nantz had a shot-put throw of 41 feet, 3 inches to take top honors. Clay won the discus with a throw of 128 feet, 5 inches.

“Cody Nantz had an off day in discus, but performed strong and won the shot put,” said coach Brent Kirk. “Michael Clay consistently threw in the 120s in discus and won first place”

On the girls side, Lilly Bias placed fourth in the 400 meter and Leah Davis finished third in the discus.
