POCA - The Danville Hawks D-Team earned their first victory of the season as the defense pitched a shutout in their 22-0 win at Poca.

The Hawks C-Team won 26-0 and improved their record to (5-0). The Hawks C-Team now sits in sole possession of first place in the MSE Blue Conference Standings. The Hawks B-Team earned their second win in a row as they knocked off Poca, 30-0.

The Hawks B-Team moved a game above .500 and now sit at (3-2) on the season. In the last game of the evening the Hawks A-Team erased the Dots by defeating them 43-6.

The Hawks A-Team improved their season record to (5-0), creating a match up of the unbeaten teams this weekend as the Hawks host the defending MSE A-Team Elite Bowl Champions Hurricane Redskins.

On Sept. 29, will be homecoming for the Hawks and will boast a “Gold Rush” theme as they take the field for the first time in their all gold uniforms. The games start at 1 p.m. and will be played at the Scott High School Athletic Complex.
